The goal, at the beginning of mentoring in 2012, was to grow the revenue and profit back up to their former heights – around the £5m mark. Sales had slowly declined over the years and, in 2012, they were languishing at £1.8m.
Paul completed a health check to begin with, and came up with a three-phase plan. The directors and accountants’ original plan was to triple the leads – however, Paul’s profit planner showed that this would not achieve the goals they were hoping for. Increasing the number of leads would not work for at least the first two years.
Today, 5 Star Windows has two amazing show sites, with a turnover of over £5m. Monthly average figures were as follows:
Paul worked with them for over two years before they achieved those results, and once the fire was lit, the momentum and methods took the business to over £6m, where it is at time of writing.
